To start, it's made from a durable Teklon nylon shell, and features warming polyester fill in the sleeves as well as a cozy sweatshirt fleece lining in the body and the hood. With a nod to safety, there's no drawcord on the hood, and to make it simpler for young kids, the interior pocket and the elastic cuffs have easy-to-use hook-and-loop closures, while the color-matched zipper has a large pull.
